- Hunts/Hunts Clothing: the online arm of Hunts of Boscombe.
- Affiliate: the person or persons linking to HuntsClothing.com.
- Referral: either a person who has followed an affiliate link, or the act of directing someone to the HuntsClothing.com website.
- Person: includes an individual, company, limited liability partnership or partnership;
- Commission: any money gained, by an affiliate, through a sale.
- We: refers to Hunts Clothing.
- User: potential customer browsing the affiliate or Hunts website.
- Upon signing up the affiliate is able to use their links immediately. Hunts will check that your
website meets our criteria and will notify you of our decision. The website will have been recording
any referrals during this time. No commissions will be paid until a website has been approved. The criteria
are as follows:
- We do not approve of spam, unsolicited emails, comment spamming, or anything of the sort. Any
affiliate found to be partaking in these methods will have their accounts closed.
- We will not accept any website with illegal content. Or websites which promote any kind of
hatred or prejudice.
- Whilst there are websites that are of a high enough quality to be approved despite this, our
general rule is that we will not approve websites set up purely to make money from affiliate links
The standard commission is five percent on the total order value, not including the delivery charge.
Websites of a very high quality who place their links in a prominent position can receive a seven and a
half percent comission; this is only through prior agreement and should never be assumed. You can apply
for the higher rate by emailing us, but generally Hunts will contact the affiliate to inform them of
the higher rate.
When a user clicks through on an affiliate's link a cookie is placed on their computer. Hunts can not
be responsible for a user's computer not accepting a cookie. The cookie stays in place for three months. If that
user purchases anything over that duration, the affiliate will receive commission.
The initial payout amount is £30. If the affiliate's commission balance is over or equal to that amount at the end
of any month; they will be paid.
- If opting to be paid by cheque, said cheque will be posted out at the end of the month, or with one week, if the
balance is past the payout amount.
- If opting to be paid via PayPal we will use PayPal's "Send Money" function to send the affiliate's balance to
them at the end of the month as long as the balance is past or equal to the payout amount. You should be aware that PayPal
will charge fees.
You may request a higher payout amount if you wish. And Hunts reserve the right to enforce one. If, for whatever reason,
the website or affiliate programme close; Hunts will contact affiliates to honour any existing balances, however, we reserve the right
to make these payments by cheque or BACS even if the affiliate has requested PayPal.
Hunts will give good notice by email before any of these conditions, including the percentage of commission, changes.
You can cancel your account at any time via email or in writing. We will contact you using the details we have
on record, and if confirmed, will pay out your balance regardless of it being over the payout amount at the end of that month.
